The mean, evil woman who managed our mobile home park for the last 20 or so years passed away on Fri.
All I feel is relief. Even if they promote one of the staff members she's been working with, none of them are as mean as she was.

I Cheated On justnate!!!
OK, only sorta cheated. Well, alright, I totally cheated on justnate. Bruce gave me the Go-Gos "We Got the Beat' for my first song tonight. (And I was able to sing it! Yay for being over laryngitis! Finally!!!!)
As I was leaving the stage Al Megas mentioned that he was always on the lookout for partners to sing "Paradise By The Dashboard Light" with, I assured him that not only did I know the song, I would even let him put it in on my turn.
I did not make out with Al during the baseball interlude. I don't know him well enough. (What kind of girl do you think I am? Oh, well, yeah. I am that kind of girl.)

Om Nom Nom...
Last week when I was at the grocery store I found an entire Top Sirloin on sale for $2 a pound. $28 for 14 lbs. of meat. ("Regular" price $78!!!) So I bought it. I brought it home and whipped out my crappy kitchen knives and carved into 1 in. thick steaks of numminess.
Yeah...I did put most of it in the freezer, but I'm on steak number 4 already. It's so good!!! I don't know if it's because I bought the whole sirloin and it wasn't trimmed, or what, but it's been so super tender and juicy.
Nom, nom, nom... I can has meats now?

Tattoo Idea
So, like most addicts, I want more ink. I've been waiting several years for someone (*cough* sylvan *cough*) to deliver a piece of art for my left arm. But I've also been thinking about what to do with the right arm. The heart and rose tattoo is centered at the bottom of the triceps and I'm having issues deciding how to build out from it.
So I presented the idea to besspeacetime and she drew me a bit of art.

Retail Therapy
So I went ahead and bought a new laptop. I got a re-furbished Compaq Presario for under $350 (and that includes tax, recycling fee and a external mouse).
It's huge!!!!
At least as compared to the Inspiron. The Inspiron is 11.5 in. wide, the new one is 15!
Of course, I am stuck with Vista...

Looks like a I need a new laptop. The video driver on this one keeps randomly quitting. At the moment a re-start gets it going again, but it did it 3 times in 2 hours last night. And once was after we installed the newest driver!

I'm Shrinking!!!
So just before I left for Disneyland I went out and bought an AbLounge, which is a chair thingie that helps you do crunches. After I got back from Disneyland I set it up and I have been using it every day.
In 2 weeks I have...
Lost 8 lbs. (Some of that was from 3 days wandering through the Magic Kingdom)
and
Lost 3 in. off my waist.
I love my AbLounge!

As if it wasn't bad enough that kshandra, maiandra and I were disgusting and disturbing tychobrahe by happily discussing heterosexual sex at dinner; afterwards I was out in the parking lot saying good-bye to Maiandra, firestrike and childe_dirk and his wife (who is also Firestrike's sister and refuses to get a damn LJ and make all our lives easier!), when with a bounce and a hug; I am greeted by Keith, Athena's husband, whom I know from the bar.
What can I say, I'm popular!
